FlexiCadastre selected as Uganda's new Mining Cadastre and Registry System
Spatial Dimension is pleased to announce that FlexiCadastre has been selected as Uganda's new Mining Cadastre and Registry System. The Ugandan Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, through the Department of Geological Survey and Mines recently signed a contract with MTL Consulting Company Limited of Tanzania to design, develop and commission an advanced rules and web-based Mining Cadastre and Registry system.... more

Mining sector forecast to grow at 7.7pc in 5 years (The Citizen Daily)
Tanzanian mining industry would grow at an average of 7.7 per cent for the next five years as more investments and activities pick up, an economic and business survey group has said.The Business Monitor International (BMI) says in the "Tanzania Mining Report Q2 2011" that the expected picking up of the growth of the industry will be significantly boosted by coal mining.
